- Paystack does not label the brand of each test card. Brands here are inferred from the number prefix (5078 and 5060 are Verve ranges).
- These numbers are published by Paystack for sandbox testing. They are not real cards and cannot be used for a real purchase.

- Switch your Paystack integration to its test or sandbox environment and use test credentials. Live credentials reject these numbers.
- Enter a card number from the tables above. Expiry: Any future date. Security code: Varies by card (408 for 4084 0840 8408 4081).
- Start with a successful card to confirm the happy path, then work through the decline and error cards so every failure message in your checkout gets exercised.
